Welcome to the Changemakers Tour!
Before Team Francesca Clapcich Powered by 11th Hour Racing lines up for the start of The Ocean Race Atlantic, they're hitting the road (and the water) for a three-city adventure down the U.S. East Coast: Boston, Newport, and New York City. Along the way, Francesca and the crew are teaming up with organizations and communities driving real change in ocean health, inclusivity, and sailing, through sailing days, boat tours, and inspiring conversations, all powered by the team's Believe, Belong, Achieve spirit.
The tour also kicks off the team's very first Internship Program, welcoming three rising stars from Rocking the Boat, a Bronx-based nonprofit and longtime 11th Hour Racing grantee, for hands-on experience at the heart of professional offshore sailing.
Five days after touching down in New York City, Francesca sets sail across the Atlantic with her 50/50 crew on September 1, all the way to Lorient, France. It's a firsthand look at how athletic performance and purposeful programming can bring hundreds of people together.
